My name is Gal Ben Arieh, and I'm 30 years old, from Tel Aviv, Israel.

I have recently come across a critical and urgent need within one of the IDF's infantry units (censoring exact details). These brave infantry soldiers are in dire need of essential protective gear, which includes:

• 120 Ceramic Vests (Level 3)
• 120 Tactical Helmets

We are in communication with several suppliers. Only equipment that meets IDF specifications will be purchased!!!

One of the soldiers in need is one of my best friends, Omer Cohen, and I am doing whatever I can to help him acquire this crucial equipment.

I asked Omer to write a few words about the situation:

"Hello, I'm Omer Cohen, and I serve in the IDF's Gdud-Cesnored , Pluga-Censored , stationed in Censored . Our unit is made up of dedicated soldiers who have come from elite combat units such as Nahal, Givati, and Golani divisions. Our unit members are aged between 23 and 34.

Recently, we were called to clear communities around the Gaza Strip. Unfortunately, we faced a horrific situation, as we encountered a deadly infiltration of armed terrorists who brutally murdered six local residents. We managed to clear the area, and we are currently involved in joint defensive operations, awaiting orders for a ground entry.

To our shock, when we received our equipment, we found it to be old, worn, and unsuitable for combat. This equipment not only hinders and endangers us but also fails to provide the necessary protection. To fully utilize our operational capabilities while safeguarding our lives during combat, we are reaching out to you, dear donors, for assistance."

שלום, קוראים לי גל בן אריה ואני בן 30, מתל אביב.

לאחרונה נתקלתי בצורך דחוף של אחת מיחידות החי״ר בצה"ל (מצנזר את הפרטים המדויקים).

החיילים זקוקים באופן דחוף לציוד קרמי שיכול להציל את חייהם במהלך הלחימה.

120 אפודים קרמיים (רמה 3)

120 קסדות טקטיות

אנחנו בתקשורת מול מספר ספקים. יירכש אך ורק ציוד שעומד בתקינה הצהלי״ת!!!

אחד החיילים מהפלוגה שזקוקה לציוד הוא חבר טוב שלי, עומר כהן, ואני עושה הכל כדי לעזור להם להשיג את הציוד הזה הזה.

ביקשתי מעומר לכתוב מילים כמה על המצב:

"אנחנו פלוגת לוחמים במילואים מחטיבה 16 ,

כלל לוחמי הפלוגה הגיעו מיחידות קרביות מובחרות כגון : חטיבת הנחל , חטיבת גבעתי וחטיבת גולני .

התפקיד האופרטיבי שלנו כלול את גזרות עזה ולבנון כולל כניסה אפשרית לעזה.

כלל הפלוגה בגילאי 23-34.

הוקפצנו ביום שבת האחרון לטיהור יישובי עוטף עזה , ליישוב (מצונזר) בו התבצעה חדירת מחבלים רכובה ורצח מתועב של 6 אזרחי המקום. טיהרנו את היישוב וכעת עוסקים בפעילות הגנה שותפת עליו עד לקריאה למשימות ההמשך(..).

ברגע החתימה על הציוד בימחים הופתענו לגלות שהציוד הוא ציוד ישן ובלוי שאינוי ראוי ללחימה ואף מעכב ומסכן אותה, וללא ספק לא מגן מספיק על הלוחמים.

על מנת שנוכל להפיק את מלוא היכולת המבצעית שלנו , תוך שמירה על חיינו גם בזמן לחימה (ע״י ציוד מגן מתאים) , אנו פונים אליכם תורמים יקרים לעזרה"
