Cephas Knowles, was born on the 9th of October, 1966 in New Providence. He was raised by both parents in Long Island, where he now cares and provides for his own family as well. Cephas grew up as one of six siblings birthed and raised by Peter & Sylvia Knowles, therefore, it was no surprise Cephas would also have a huge family of his own. Cephas married a beautiful, intelligent woman from Eleuthera in the spring of 1998, whom has loved and supported him over all these years. They both were blessed with eight healthy loving children whom they raised in Nassau until they decided to move their family to the peaceful island of Long Island in 2003. Unfortunately, Cephas’ wife has been struggling with a movement disability for several years, which makes her incapable of working, yet he has continued to care for her and has never left her side. Cephas is a hard-working Bahamian who gets up everyday, with the exception of his Sabbath of course, to make sure his family is well provided for. Not only is he the sole provider for his wife and two minor children now, he is amicable, kind-hearted, selfless, and he is the glue that keeps this family together. Saturday February 13th, 2021, a day we can not forget. Cephas Knowles suffered from a major stroke at his home in Long Island which led to his emergency flight into Nassau to be treated by the doctors of Princess Magaret Hospital. After a few scans and blood test, we realize we are in grave need for monetary assistance. We are asking for your help, whether big or small, it will be greatly appreciated and put to use for caring and furthering Cephas’ medical care, as well as his recuperation. We the family of Cephas Knowles thank everyone for your consideration, thoughts & prayers.
