Raising Aids for Central Vietnam

The central region of Vietnam is currently experiencing the most devastating typhoons and floods in recent history this Monsoon season. As a result, many poor families have been displaced from their homes; electricity is now cut and food supplies become extremely limited. Unfortunately, due to the risk of water continuing to rise over these past few days, locals in this region are trying to survive the strong currents passing through this region, in fear of being washed away, starved, or abandoned with the unknown losses of family members. Seeing how the roofs of many households have been completely submerged under water in consequences to this disaster, we feel moved and obligated, within our own abilities, to raise funds that can hopefully help contribute to the aids of these survivors. Many friends have reached out to us about their wishes to be a part of this funding campaign; and so, our hope is to provide a reliable platform where friends, especially from abroad, and those who know of this tragic event can show their supports for the struggling people living in the central region of Vietnam. We do not have a specific aim for the amount in which we would like to raise as contributions of any size matter to us equally, and we know that all funds raised would mean significantly much to the survivors that receive it in the form of aids, food supplies, and monetary values. Our family is working on filtering out a list of highly reliable and publicly known non-profit organizations, charity campaigns, and representatives that we can redirect our funds to as we cannot physically be present at the scenes in crisis to distribute these donations in person; however, the organizations and campaigns selected would be able to deliver them instead. We promise to be transparent about the methods of donation used from this funding and keep contributors updated with the purchases and final ways of delivering them after the funding process has been completed.
