Background

Royale College High School (RCHS) is an institution registered with the Ministry of Education of Jamaica and is a department of the Royale College of Arts and Social Sciences group of schools. Royale College of Arts & Social Sciences (RCASS) was established in 2004 in the parish capital of May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies as a private liberal arts college by its founder and current President Paul Mavour.

 Our Goal

We seek to assist individuals 15-21 years of age, who are mainly troubled with truancy. Students are often truant as a result of the low-income situation faced by their parents or guardians. As a result students are turning toward crime, drugs, and other social problems. The aim of this programme is to cater to the educational and financial needs of our youth in order to reduce or transform these social problems in and around the May Pen vicinity.

Our vision is to provide high quality teaching with a resourceful learning environment that is free of charge for all eligible truant youth. We offer academic tutoring and skill training for the development of educational, behavioural and psychosocial skills which are necessary for students to lead productive lives in school, communities and the society at large.

The funds received will be used:

  1. To provide uniform fabric to each students to make at least two (2) uniform.
  2. To purchase and prepare healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) free of cost for students.
  3. To source tools, equipment, books, computers, class furniture and office furniture,
  4. To finance students transportation to and from school.
  5. To assist with building of a facility for the programme operations.

 Why should you get involved?

For every donation you make you are contributing to the life of aspiring young people that are less fortunate than others.  As we acquire funds we will provide updates of changes occurring in the school and express our gratitude to our contributors by way of sending post cards, verbal online appreciation by students and staff and establishing trademarks in our institution.

Thank you so much for your interest in contributing to this fund
