Central America Volunteer Project to help students and adults with special needs

I wanted to do something meaningful over my senior spring break so I searched for options where I could combine travel with my passion for those with special needs. I found the perfect solution through an International Volunteer company that helps pair volunteers with their passions all over the world. Of those opportunities that matched my passion for those with special needs, and were also available during my spring break, Costa Rica was the most econmical option. I applied and was thrilled to be accepted.

I'm very excited to spend my senior spring break working with students and adults with special needs, and learning more about the Costa Rican culture. My accomodations will have running water, although it's not guaranteed that the water will be heated. I know this adventure will be challenging at times, but I know it will be an adventure where I can truly make a difference.

If I raise the full campaign amount, the funds should cover all the transportation costs - airline tickets, airport transportation, and the transportation to and from the volunteer sites.

Once the campaign goal has been reached, additional funds are still appreciated. There are also registration and application fees, program fees through the organization, and of course living and eating expenses during my time in Costa Rica.

Any amount is accepted and appreciated.
