On March 27, 1918 occurred the remarkable event in the history of our country, the Republic of Moldova (Bessarabia at that time), of union with the country from the other side of the Prut river, Romania. This union lasted for 22 years, until the soviets ordered its separation.

101 years have passed since that moment and the volunteers of the Asociația pentru Românii de Pretutindeni ”Inițiativa” from Timișoara intend to organise a concert on behalf of this occasion with the main aim of spreading amongst the young and older ones the feeling of union and brotherhood. The event will take place on March 24, 2019, in Timișoara, and our special guests will be the members of the ”Moldo Crescendo” ensemble of classical music from the Republic of Moldova.

We are kindly asking you to financially contribute and support our project, because we believe that together we can make it!

The expenses will be spent on hiring the space in which the concert will be held, on promoting the event and on plane tickets for the artists that come from different countries and will finally reunite in Timișoara for the first time in months.
