Celebrating Equality and Love

My partner Maribel and I have been together for two years, and she is the love of my life.  I have been so lucky and blessed to meet such a wonderful woman, and in the same time period watch the reversal of DOMA.  I can finally picture a life of equality with the woman I love.  It gets even better...this beautiful, vibrant woman also comes with 4 amazing children.  Not only did I find a wife to give me her love and support, I found a woman who gave me the incredible gift of being a mom.  Now, as I am sure many of you know - living a single life, good job, decent pay, and all of that doesn't exactly transition easily to bringing another person and her 4 children into my life.  

I have never felt more rich and more loved in all of my life, but that has come with a price.  My once robust savings now do not yield the wedding of our dreams.  A wedding that is now held up in equality, and I hope to be able to give that to her one day.  I want to be able to bring our families together to celebrate our love, and revel in equality.  If between saving and this effort I am unable to afford our dream wedding, we will probably just go to city hall.  This is fine, as long as I spend the rest of my life with her, but for those of you who are able, please consider supporting our love, and helping us host this celebration of love and equality.
