#CDH SURVIVOR

Hello, Im Kia, my son was born on 9/27/18 by c-section at 37 weeks 5days. Its just 36weeks when I find out that my son had LCDH all his intestines,were up in his chest. Has a hole in his diaphragm. As soon as he was born a team of doctor's, nurses and other specialist were there to stabilize him. After a few hrs he trandferred to NICU immediately. He seem to be fine for the first few days with vent and o2 then he had his surgery at 3 days old. The surgery went smoothly it turn out that my son had a slightly big hole and theres a miracle that there is an extra skin and no need for a big patch after 3 weeks things good, he extube, im not worried at all. after a long research and knowledge about Cdh, We ( my husband and I) at first we declined to put our trust in God's Hand. Knowing regardless of what we do only God knows if he was going to survive or go to heaven. With a lot of prayers from family and friends praised to God he made it through the toughest time. He is my 3rd child he is our hero who stayed strong even though doctors thought we were crazy we used our Faith as leverage we believed in Allah to help our son if he was meant to be here. He did made it through until the Doctors said that he can go home.. lHe has been doing good for the last couple days on his breathing. He has been out on nd tube feeding and he was feed with my breastmilk. For now I am raising a money for my son for financial assistance we his parents have been struggling financially all through out. We still admitted to the hospital because we no longer afford his medicines for continued treatment and labs tests given by his doctors. And the Hospital Bill too. I am a bit sad that we cant go home asap because of money.. I hope that all of the people who read my story can take time to consider my situation. Its an advance thanks and i would be very much appreciate for any amount. I hope that it can help me along this journey. It has been a roller coaster ride with this CDH even though we didnt expect it at all. My son is already 1 month and 2days now. still CDH was challenging our Faith and strength. Thank you very much.
