Catz R Us SA New Home Project

Catz R Us SA is a Pretoria based NPO. We are a cat fostering and rehoming organisation that have been in existence since 2004. Due to unforeseen circumstances we need to find new premises to run our shelter/organisation from by the end of May 2016 and as a registered NPO, we rely entirely on donations from the public.

We have 9 weeks to either re-home approximately 160 cats and kittens, or we need to raise the funds to purchase our own site, so that our babies can keep their home.

It would be an absolute injustice for us to shut CatzRus down completely. We have taken in approximately 450 cats and kittens since August - animals that otherwise would have been dumped or euthanised. Even with limited funding and staff, we try our best, and are so incredibly passionate about these cats, the thought of closing down completely is heart wrenching. Already, we’ve had to turn away numerous rescues over the last few days, because we’re unsure of our future, and the guilt is tremendous.

If you would like to contribute towards our new home, any amount would make a huge difference! We’re still busy formulating a plan of action, and sussing out potential sites, but we simply cannot hold off on trying to raise the funds we need.
