CATS OF JAKARTA/SPAY THE STRAY PROJECT

Kitty Paradise will be launching a project this year its FIRST GIVING BACK community projecr for 2020, in celebration of Tiara's birthday for a cause initiative. The bigger purpose is to support the animal welfare initiatives such as animal rescue & controlling the stray population here in Jakarta Timur.

Our mission is a stray free Jakarta Timur and we invite you to join our mission.

1ST MISSION ON 14 MARCH

As we striving to to give a better after care for the cats after the surgery procedure we will need to built a better space & have a better facilities for them. We are aiming to have it done 1 week before the TNR project.

This will include renovation cost, contractor cost & new equipment for the cats.

TIMELINE FOR 1ST MISSION

• 10th -13th March, Raise Funding Goals (IDR14,250,000/ USD$1,096) seek donations
• 14th March start of renovation project (estimated 1 week)

2ND MISSION ON 28 MARCH

We strive to be a part of the solution to help and control the stray cats population through more humane way which is spay/neutering. Our mision is to launch a small TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project starting from a small neighbourhood in Jakarta Timur on 28 March than move on to another part of neighbourhood. We are aiming for a minimum of 10 cats.

This will includes transportation, surgery, post-op recovery & continuos feeding and care for the stray cats.

TIMELINE FOR 2ND MISSION

• 23rd - 27th March, Raise Funding Goals (IDR6,000,000/USD$462)
• 27th March, Capture cats (have space/fostering for overnight fasting)
• 28th March Surgery for the cats
• 28th March - 2 April Post-op care/foster care
• 3rd April Release cats to back to rescued location.

HOW CAN YOU HELP

1. DONATIONS

Our goal is to raise IDR20,250,000 (USD$1,560). Any donation amount is welcome.

2. VOLUNTEERS

• Capture of cats - For those who stay in the area of JLN DUKUH 3 JAKARTA TIMUR if you want to volunteer we will be doing capture of cats in the area. Anytime after 1pm on the 27th March. Please let us know so we can coordinate.
• Fosters - We are seeking forster to help us foster capture cats at Kitty Paradise overnight of 27th March and for post-op care (28th March - 2nd April) before they get release again.
• Supply donations/loans - We welcome supply of donation or loans for dry/wet food/borrow or donations of crates, food bowls, towel etc

TIARA BIRTHDAY FOR A CAUSE

I have choose this project as Tiara's (our first rescued cats) birthday celebration. My love for animals has made me focus on pet population control and animal welfare, so it has always my heart desire to bring this vision to Indonesia.

As much as i want, it is not easy to rescud and get all stray adopted. This is why spaying stray cats is very important. It helps in long term and their overall well being on the streets.
