Cats of Airport Road
Cats of Airport Road project helps feed and take care of stray and special needs cats in the Airport Road area in Tripoli, Libya. Also, the project had established a rescue team that helps saving cats and dogs in Tripoli city. To continue working on our mission, we need donations to provide food, healthcare to cats, in addition to performing more rescue missions. There are about 30 cats under our care that need food, healthcare, and love. Stray cats and dogs in Tripoli are at risk of being poisoned and killed by residents who think that extermination is the key to stop them from breeding. We aim to solve the issue by providing proper shelter to those innocent creatures, but we need financial support to achieve our goal. We ask you not to hesitate to help us reach our goal and help these animals to have a chance to live.
The current state of the project, financially, can only handle food and healthcare for the cats that we’re responsible of.
Looking ahead, after we’ve established proper shelter for cats during summer and winter, and provide enough food funds for the coming months, we will be searching for ways to minimize their increase, which includes finding a well experienced Vet to cooperate with us, to ensure proper treatment and contraceptive methods for the cats in a reliable and safe facility.
Because of the political situation and war in Libya, all international money transactions have stopped since 2014, therefore the only way to receive the donations is through my mother's bank account in Turkey, then have them delivered to Libya personally.
