Due to the continued Covid 19 pandemic, our shelter is rapidly reaching a point of crisis. We are struggling financially and sadly, with no end date to the crisis and ways to plan and generate funds, we really need help.

We have always been lucky and in the past have managed to get by with the fantastic support of the community - and the events we have held. But now, we have no idea when the next one will be and thinking of ideas for fundraising that don't involve crowds of people, is near impossible. If you have any ideas... do let us know!

While adoptions thankfully are continuing, our daily operations and the expenses that go along with that have been severely impacted by our ability to conduct our regular funding activities. We are doing all we can to be responsible and keep everyone safe, while continuing to manage adoptions and fosters keeping social distancing in mind. The logistics alone have increased workload in that regard ten fold.

Trying to source and purchase stock of cleaning products, bulk buying dog food and also ensuring that the welfare of all the dogs in our care isn't compromised, as well as coming up with the shelter rental, is taking its toll due to the financial worry but also the uncertainty of the virus.

We are pleading now, hoping that with your kindness and support we can raise enough funds to cover and carry us through the next 3 months, or we really are in trouble.

This fundraiser will cover shelter operation costs, shelter rent, cleaning supplies and the majority of expenses associated with the physical care of 70 dogs and puppies.

Average monthly expenses: $45,000HKD

Rent - $10,000

Operations - $20,000

Dog Food - $15,000

Our priority is as always keeping the dogs well fed, happy and healthy, its never been easy but the current circumstances bring a whole new world of stress none of us could have ever predicted.
