Campaign Story
We are a group of College students in Pembroke Ontario, attending Algonquin College's Outdoor Adventure Program. This program is a professional guide training program that focuses on creating and running outdoor adventure businesses. We focus on safely managing risk, as well as building an outdoor business from the ground up. This trip is a part of our culminating project to creat a detailed self supported expedition and execute it. Our goal is to run the Colorado river just outside of Moab Utah. This section of river is known as the Cataract Canyon, and winds over 100 miles through Canyonland National Park. We will be on the river for a total of 8 days, with a total of 5 days of flat water and 3 days of class 4 white water.
We are fundraising to try to cover some of the costs associated with this trip.
- Flights
- Gear Rental
- Food
- Shuttle to and from the river
Rewards
We will be documenting our adventure, and will be able to offer a video of our trip to all donators.
