The new outdoor fence that’s facing the street is almost finished now, but we’re still around 1000 euros short. The fence in question has been progressively deteriorating for years, as it wasn’t built properly in the first place and began crumbling as of 2011, so now it was in such a state that it could collapse at any time. At the end of August this year, a team of construction workers started to build a new fence and their work is just about done, yet we have no idea how to cover the costs of putting up a new fence with new gates as donations have dwindled off to a trickle.
Construction workers will be here for a few more days, repairing/replacing the rusted gutter and fixing the ceiling of the corridor in front of cats’ room to get us ready for the upcoming winter season. It’s September already and we should also start thinking about purchasing the first tank of heating fuel once we manage to pay off the debt in full. Should we mention that the cats need to be fed and taken to the vet regardless of any current problems as well?
There’s no way we can get
ready for the upcoming winter without your help! More than 120 kitties will be
very grateful and breathe easier if you can step up! Please share!
