Cash for Ken

Our friend and former colleague, Kennedy, needs help to raise money for a new application to gain permanent UK residency and also regain his right to work in the UK. Originally from Zimbabwe, and having now lived and worked in the UK for 10 years, on 3 respective 3 year Visa's, he received the very sad news last week, that his recent application for permanent residency had been rejected at the Appeal Courts.

This meant that he is temporarily prevented from working and we have had to terminate his employment while he looks to resolve the situation, by putting in a new application to the UK Home Office based on new evidence.

This is a huge blow to Kennedy, as he now does not have regular employment income to help support his legal costs, not to mention his normal living costs. Also, this potentially jeopardises his relationship with his young son, who lives in the UK. It would be more difficult to regain contact if he was forced to return to Zimbabwe.

We want to raise some money to help Kennedy get both the expert legal support he needs at this difficult time, but also help him keep his morale up too. He can't fight this battle alone and needs the help and support of his friends and family.

So please spare a thought (and some cash) for Kennedy if you can, and lets help a genuinely good guy, return to work and contribute to the country he now calls Home.
