Campaign Story
Dear Family/Friend,
I am working on my Eagle project right now and am at the most important stage of my project; fundraising. This is what will decide how much I can help the church I am working with, and how large my project can be. My project will be done at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and they need our help.
My project will be building a meditation labyrinth on the Gloria Dei property. This maze will get the church members and nonmembers more active with the church on the property. The maze will also be open to the neighbors to walk through and experience the serenity. We will be building benches for families to sit on and watch as their family walks through the maze, or to just take in the scenery. This maze will also be used by the church for activities on occasions such as holidays. The maze will be made out of 6-8 inch river rock to make the paths that you will walk through. There will also be gravel or sand that we will fill the paths. The benches will be made out of concrete, or at least the seat will be, and we will be building two of them.
All of the materials needed for my project will be expensive. Any money not used for the materials will be donated to the church. Please consider helping me create this quiet meditation oasis, and any donation large or small will be greatly appreciated.
Yours truly,
Casey Greene, Life scout on his way to Eagle

This sounds like a great project, Casey. Learning to work with concrete is a good skill to have. Best of luck.
