Casa Woodstock, a home away from Home for our locals in Cape Town, a platform created for Artist, Musicians and DJs to express themselves. Our Open Mic and Art Jams have contributed significantly to our Culture in the Mother City. Casa will soon host its first online event, streaming live to all everyone at home.
Like most businesses, Casa as a bar, pizzeria and music venue has been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, we don’t know when we will open our doors again. We understand the closure of the bar is highly necessary to curb the spread of this disease, however, it has left our bar staff, bouncers, cleaners, and musicians and artists - most of whom rely solely on the club for their income - in an incredibly difficult position. Up until now, we have contributed to payment of staff and handed out food parcels which helped considerably well, but we cannot sustain this indefinitely. We are turning to you, our Casa family and friends, for assistance in the weeks to come. We want to do everything possible to ensure that our team and their families can get through this incredibly tough time.
We have set up a funding campaign and are appealing to the Casa family to donate whatever possible to help support the amazing staff who take care of us week in and week out. 100% of the money raised will go directly to supporting them and ensuring they can put food on their table.
Any donations will be much appreciated including food parcels. Casa Woodstock would like to roll out at least 100 parcels to the value of R100 that include pumpkin, tomatoes, onion, flour ...etc to.Support our Local Artists, Musicians and Staff.
We hope that when all of this is over, we can again enjoy live sport, music and a cocktail at our local, alongside the same staff and workers that have always worked diligently to ensure that we have a great night. Now, more than ever, we need you.
