Caro’s path

This is Carolina Rodríguez García, a year ago she was diagnosed Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, a rare epilepsy form. The prognosis was poor. The treatment is mostly seizure control… And the mortality raye is high. she has tried almost all the available medication options, with poor or none succes.
The last month she has been at the hospital, fighting everyday, trying to not get into intensive care unit… but living in a continuos seizure crisis.
But today, the New encephalogram results came in. It seems there is a chance her epilepsy is not Lennox Gastaut, it appers to be caused by a physical brain malformation… And she could be a candidate for brain surgery
Our city is small, we dont have here the technology, facilities or doctors to operate her.

She will have to travel to Mexico City, And the family cant afford the surgery cost.
