Carolyn’s Publishing a Book

Many of you know the heroic story of Carolyn Powell after she suffered cardiac arrest 4 years ago. Through her diligence and the support of many of you, she has endured a miraculous recovery process and today she happily looks forward to seeing her boys grow up and spending time with her husband, Luke.

For those of you that don't know her story....After her cardiac arrest, her family was told that if she made it, she would never be the same. She would be blind and not be able to care for her two boys, at the time, ages 22 months and 2 months. Despite what the doctors said, she has proven them wrong through perserverance. After having to relearn everything like dressing, walking, and tackling everyday tasks that most take for granted, she has grown to figure out to a point where she can take care of herself and use those skills to also raise 2 children.

Today, Carolyn is ready to take her story public, by publishing her own book! As she sets out on this adventure, she can't do it alone, so we're setting up this site to crowdsource funding to help support the back end fees that it will take to get this book on shelves in the coming year. Any and all donations are beyond appreciated and we look forward to celebrating this success with Carolyn!
