Carmencita Prejido's Fight Against Cancer
We are in great need of help for my mother - Carmencita Prejido, who is now 73 years old, She is battling Breast Cancer Stage 3 and would possibly be undergoing breast surgery / mastectomy on her left breast.
We need your help to raise funds ASAP For her medication, operation and tests.

Update posted by Carlo Prejido at 07:58 amIt's been so busy and it was like a snap when it all happened. JuLy 1st was when we went back to East Avenue Medical Center to get Mom's surgery schedule. We all thought we will be advised to go back for admission. To our surprise! Mom was advised she. . . . .

Mom is still considered healthy for her age at least to me she is by the looks of her test results. Next up Bone Scan! I am

Update posted by Carlo Prejido at 04:19 amIt's Mom's Blood typing and ultrasound of the pancreas, liber and spleen today. Praying that the result will normal. Sje got her blood chem and turns out her cholesterol level is higher than the limit. Her blood sugar, hemoglobin and ECG are normal so we Thank God for that!! Tomorrow

She is scheduled for Ultrasound of the liver, pancreas and spleen on Tuesday and Bone scan on June 10th.Hoping for positive

Update posted by Carlo Prejido at 01:35 pmMom and I went to Medical Center Manila for a 2nd Opinion and the evaluation is that her case may have escalated to Stage 4 and the tumor can be taken out through mastectomy - surgery. Mom will need to undergo chemo sessions after. Feels like we're running out of. . . . .
