From being a premie born at 31weeks until present, Carlos' life is indeed a blessing. For the past 5 years, we celebrated his birthday with family and friends as means of thanksgiving, although last year, we invited a few more kids as a way of sharing his and our family's blessings. This year, as he is growing up to be more mature, I desire to teach him more that birthdays are not always about receiving a lot of gifts but also learning to share those to people who need them more. In addition, way back 2012, when Carlos was just 2 months old, one of his eyes (Carlos was born with Retinopathy of Prematurity and needed treatment the soonest possible time) was saved by a group of "superheroes", and I believe it is about time that we, especially our little Carlos, can become "superheroes" in our own little ways. We will be having a feeding program to 100 malnourished/ underweight kids in our community. They are under the Jesus Cares Feeding Program of AOLP. Beyond the feeding program, it is a plan to provide some grocery items for the kids, vitamins, and some school supplies/ books for their needs during their catechesis and formal schooling. The plan will only be made possible with your help whether in cash or kind (send me a private message) .
