Esclanda-Cariño, Covid-19

Thess, is indeed diagnosed to be Covid-19 positive. Pneumonia is the resulting complication of her situation, making it extremely difficult for her to breathe. She is confined at the De los Santos Medical Center by herself, as accompanying persons are not allowed. We pray that her situation gets controlled and no intubation will be needed to help her breathe.

Ivan, meanwhile is still hospitalized at the NKTI, and he is by himself too, the dialysis are continuously done as it is a support necessary as his kidneys are impaired.

Ivory, another member of the family has also tested positive to Covid-19. She is in isolation, but staying at home, following necessary protocols.

The rest of the family are also isolating, but doing all they can to help Tess and Ivan find the necessary resources for their hospitalization bills.

Thanks are in order for all your prayers and words of encouragement. Auntie Pit, Edgar, Ate Cristy, Louie and the rest of the family are grateful for all the help you have extended to them.

It is indeed a very challenging time for the family, as you know that Uncle Tony also passed on a couple of months back prior to being hospitalized for months too, hence, all support are appreciated from you.

Your prayers are still needed at this time. Should you still wish to send any financial assistance, all details are in the attached poster below. And if you can direct us and the family for other funding sources (e.g., local government units, senators, congressmen, DSWD, PCSO, etc) please let us know.

Stay safe everyone, and may God bless us all!

  • My mother, Teresita E. Cariño who is 60 years old was also tested positive since she is the one who accompanied my brother inside the hospital. At first, she complained about her cough and sudden loss of smell and taste. We are all worried of her situation so we decided to seek emergency check-up at De Los Santos Medical Center. She undergoes different laboratory test and it was confirmed that she has Pneumonia and needed to be confined for her urgent medication. Upto date her lab test were not getting better. Prayers are needed at this time...🙏 My mom is fighting to be well for her family and for her 3 grandchildren. We want her to have a great time to sit back and enjoy her senior years.
