Campaign Story
My mother had a heart attack a little while back, she is now having mini-strokes.
I used to drive several hundreds of miles at the weekends to get to her and help her do basic things like vacuuming, changing curtains, moving furniture, changing bulbs, etc.
I lost my job some time ago and with it my means of transport.
I am now self employed but my income only covers my bills and certainly does not allow for the expense of purchasing, even a an old second hand car.
I have now moved closer to my mother but without a car I am still unable to give her the help I would dearly like to and the companionship I know she wants.
That is why I am looking to find help to let me purchase a second hand, but reliable car to allow me to help my mother out.
And donations to this project would go on to help me get out more and do more walking, it would help me save money on my shopping and let me meet my friends again, i'm lucky if I see someone once every two months at the moment, in a short sentence, it would change my life as well as my mothers.
