Caring for Miranti — Win the battle with the diseas

Miranti Rachmatsaleh?young, beautiful, positive and always full of energy, is loved by her family, many of the friends and colleagues. In August this year, she was bothered by constant pain and later was diagnosed with Acute Monocytic Leukemia.

We were all stricken by the sad news. The only relief is the disease is at early stage therefore appropriate treatment will be able to return a healthy Miranti to her family and friends. Miranti is now going through chemotherapy. She finished already two cycles of chemotherapy and currently is in the 3rd cycle. She is steadily making great progress according to the test. After this cycle, she still need to have a stem cell transplant to avoid any chance of relapsing.

Many of us visited Miranti in NUH in Singapore. She was weak due to the chemotherapy but she was holding strongly and smiled a lot. 

While Miranti is happy with the progress, however the treatment is very expensive. The insurance package Miranti has can only cover a small fraction of treatment. The cost of the treatment is a heavy burden for her and her family.

We ask for your ‘Caring’ for Miranti and support her to ease up Miranti’s financial burden and win the battle with the disease. Every dollar will count.
