Greetings,

I am Bernice Tee, a dedicated teacher in hopes to help all of her students and also people around her.

In my working year as a teacher, I realized a lot of students come to get advice from me on how to handle their depression and anxiety as they are uncomfortable to get help from their parents or counselor. As a teacher, I could only be there for them and unable to give proper advises on how they could properly manage it. Not just as a teacher but also as a friend to my friends and people that I know that may not be able to get help. Awareness about mental health is low in Malaysia and want to help not to just spread awareness but also become a pillar for those in need to lean on.

This come to the decision of me to take my career development a step further in getting a Certification in Counselling or Certification in Certification in Psychotherapy.

This is just initial effort. May look for other institution in getting the certificate.

I hope that I would be able to get enough funding to improve my abilities to help those people around me in a proper and correct manner.
