Career as an Airline Pilot

Hi all,

I am currently working in Shanghai as a teacher trying to save up enough money to continue my passion of becoming an airline pilot. I am 28 years old and a South African.

A little history of me:

Ever since my father took me to the airport as a 4 year old boy it has been my dream to fly! When I turned 18 I started working as a waiter to pay for my Private Pilot License. I managed to do this with a little help from my mom. Then I needed to get my commercial license, I managed to earn up the hours by flying for 5 dollars a day. I attained the 200 hours needed and saved up my money by eating instant noodles and living in a caravan at the airport. I paid for my commercial test (350 dollars) and set my goals on the next step, Airline pilot. For this I need 1500 hours and a rating on one of the big jets. Total cost for this is 25 000 dollars. I am working hard in Shanghai as a teacher to try and save up enough money, but after a year and a half I have managed to save up $5000. I am eating 1 meal a day to try and save as much money as possible. I thought I would reach out and see if there are any kind souls who are willing to help me achieve my life long passion of flying the heavy metal. I live and breath airplanes, I will do anything to attain my goal.

So that's a brief history of me, if I manage to attain enough money I can guarantee you that it will not be spent on things I do NOT NEED! I am willing to provide proof of money locations and expenditure. I use PayPal to transfer money home where it goes into a fixed deposit account that requires 32 days to withdraw.

I am not expecting anything here, I just thought, Hey if you never try and ask then the answer will always be no. So here I am, asking for a little help to attain my goals.

I have done a lot of research and know the most economical route with the best quality to attain my goal. Should I manage to achieve my goal, then I will most definitely pay it forward to the next person in need!
