How it started
I started making greeting cards for friends and family to let them know I was thinking of them and to make them feel good. People told me that I had a talent and that I should make more and sell them because they know I don't earn that much money and could use a little extra.
What I thought I could do
I decided that I should make more cards and try to sell them for a commission at our library store so it could benefit the library and maybe myself a little bit.
What I need
I found out to really benefit the store I would have to have a small stock of finished cards to replace the ones I've sold. The problem is that I use a printer for part of the cards and mine is old and the ink costs a fortune. What I need is a newer printer and a good supply of ink and paper.
How and why you should help
I'd be grateful for any small amount you can give. You'd be benefitting a library and helping to pay for programs and you'd be benefitting me by my getting a small commission from the store that would help me to pay my energy bill and maybe replace my worn out mattress at some point.
