Car repairs

Hi, my name is Jose Suarez I am 45 years old and I live in Puerto Rico with my mother that is 70 years old and my grandmother who is 93 years old. My car broke down and to fix it is going to take $1600.00, plus we owe the homeowners association $1300.  We thought about selling it but because it is in such condition no one would buy it and also we wouldn't get enought to buy even an used one.  We thought of trading it in but we neither have the credit or the money for monthly payments.  Here is the catch, I am unemployed and in order for me to get a job I am required to have transportation.  Most jobs will specifically ask.  The public transportation here is unreliable to say the least.  We don't have any other relatives to help us.  Please help us, we have reached the bottom of the barril and see no other choice but to stop paying the bills which are already behind.  Even if we stopped paying the non-essentials it would take uske us about 16 months to gather the money.  At least eight months of not being able to get a job.  I hope you can help my family out of  such a situation.  Thank you and God bless.
