Car Payments

I need some help with car payments. I am behind as diapers and my car insurance take away from making these payments. My car insurance company keeps doubling my monthly payments and I am up to paying $489 a month which i am also behind but we get extra days to pay. I need this car with two babies and a working husband who doesn't get paid as much. I need this money as soon as next weekend or even the weekend after. My mom is struggling as is so I don't want to ask as she needs all her money for mortgage and lawyer fees. This is the first time I have every owned a nice car and the first one that hasn't broke down. It is getting cold and I don't want to travel public transit (not that I even have the money for that.)
