Capstone Project: Solar Cooker

The fund that will be given will only be used for our capstone project.

We, the grade 12 students of Universidad De Sta. Isabel are conducting an experimental research in connection with our capstone subject. We aim to create a cooking device that does not produce harmful emissions that contributes to climate change and respiratory diseases. A device that could be classified as a vital tool for a disaster preparedness kit because it allows the user to cook without any fuel or other special tools. Furthermore, we aim to make this device family friendly because it can save money on energy and reduce the need for poverty-stricken families to go on a burdensome fuel-gathering trips that can cause injuries, and make the people vulnerable to danger from animals, criminals or accidents.
