Abdu Dayaan and Abdul Mu'izz have been granted the opportunity to play in a tournament which will be held in Dubai in April 2018. They are "soccer stars" in the making.
Both boys excell in soccer and have been awarded with trophies for their skills and passion shown. They excell academically as well, both boys have progressed above average especially in Mathematics.
We are grateful that Simsport International has granted the boys from Hanover Park this opportunity. A special thanks to Sameeh Mc Laurie for his hardwork, effort, managing everything so well and making it happen for the boys. The boys from Hanover Park are faced with daily challenges as this suburb is labelled as a danger zone. Amidst all the poverty surrounding these kids we are trying to show them a brighter future and give them hope of a better life. Majority of the boys are raised by single mother's who are striving to give their kids the best under the circumstances. We want to keep our boys focussed and off the streets eventhough it seems trying raising boys on the Cape Flats. We also know that playing a sport, namely soccer has influenced the lives of people in many positive ways.
By having them go to Dubai for the soccer tournament they will see the importance of the sport, be more motivated; committed and inspired. They will also see that they can too be successfull by playing soccer and be an inspiration for all the other children from the Cape Flats. There is also a possibility that some boys might be given a development bursaries or scholarships should they prove themselves during the tournament.
Simsport International has already travelled overseas with boys from more affluent suburbs. We really want our boys to join in on this once in a lifetime opportunity but it would also be tough to raise such funds without your help.
Any donations big or small will be highly appreciated as every cent counts. Please share with possible sponsors as well.
Your kindness brightens our world!
