Campaign Story
Hello Friends and Family!
THIS IS A SECRET. DON'T TELL TIM.
To start here are my main points:
- I love my dad
- He fixes everything for our family (computers, furniture, appliances, etc)
- He has a canoe
- His canoe got ruined this Winter
- He loves his canoe
- We want to replace his canoe for his birthday/Christmas
- We need your help
There you have it in a nutshell. Tim/Dad is a great guy who will go out of his way to help and fix things for others. Unfortunately his prized possession got ruined by another boat this Winter. Canoeing is his favorite thing to do to relax and spend time with his awesome family ;) With the stress of work, the thought of getting a new canoe is overwhelming and frankly too sad for him to bear. Therefore we are going to do it for him.
Canoes aren't cheap and we will need all the help we can get! As a combined early birthday and Christmas gift, we will be raising money to purchase a new canoe for him this Summer. If you are as bad as me with birthday and Christmas gifts, this is a perfect opportunity to chip in and kill two birds with one stone. Even if you weren’t planning on getting Tim a gift for either Holidays but you think he is a pretty cool and nice dude, feel free to donate as well ;)
Our goal is to raise 1000CHFR to buffer the cost of the canoe. Feel free to donate directly online and leave a Birthday note or you can also donate directly to my mom or brother anytime this month. We will be putting together a card of your names and notes so he will know who has made his canoe possible :)
We love him and appreciate everything he does for this family and is high time we fixed something for him!

It's wonderful to see so many people appreciating my dad as much as I do and helping us with this gift!After two months of secrecy (extremely difficult in the family) we FINALLY surprised my dad with the amount raised!. . . . .
