Cannes Film Festival Funding for a Malaysian

The annual Cannes Film Festival has organized a new programme called 3 Days in Cannes where film lovers all over the world are given a chance to experience the Cannes Film Festival this year.

The Festival de Cannes offers the chosen participants to take part in the event from May 17 to May 19 2018 to discover the officially selected films this year as well as to access the Palais des Festivals.

I took a chance and applied for the programme whereby a letter of motivation should also be included as part of the application form. As an intense Cannes Film Festival enthusiast, I wrote that letter passionately and I've been selected to be one of the 1000 participants all over the world to be part of it. Perhaps the only Malaysian to be given this chance!!

For those who would want to see my passion towards Cannes Film Festival, just type #awardfilmsarepartofmylife in instagram and you could see all my movie reviews for all the nominated films in Cannes for the past few years.

As a student myself, I cherish all award films and I feel its too close to home. Sadly, no lodging and transportation is provided and as a student, funding to go to Cannes from Malaysia is an intense plan .

I am humbly asking anyone out there to understand my situation as this is a proud occurrence that could only happen once in a lifetime and a prestigious chance for a Malaysian to discover the ultimate Cannes Film Festival.

Take a leap of faith on me and make my dream come true. Just this dream.
