Canine Eyelid Tumor Removal – Kleintjie

Kleintjie, meaning "Little one" in Afrikaans, has a massive tumor that was originally very small a few months ago but it has grown so large within a month. It's continued to grow until today it finally burst, we've taken her to a vet on multiple occasions. At first they said we can leave it if it's not growing or not bothering her but within a month it grew rapidly. :(

The position of the tumor means that she will need to have a special surgery done by an ophthalmologist because they will need to remove part of the eyelid and a new one constructed from the skin above her eye and more surgeries to remove the hair from the new skin/eyelid.

The vet quoted us R13,000 ($870) for the first surgery and said around R9,000 ($600) will be needed for the other surgeries.

I have already paid over $200 for visits to the vet and medicine, steroid shots to try to treat it and am asking my friends and family to donate whatever they can afford to help Kleintjie as we cannot afford her treatment as this was an unexpected expense.
