Campaign Story
Candie Can and Will Beat Cancer!
Hello wonderful people of the internet! My family and I would like to knock on the doors of your hearts and humbly ask for help. You see, our mommy is currently battling Stage IV Breast Cancer. She was initially diagnosed with Stage III-B last July 2017. Sadly, instead of going away, the cancer seems to be progressing even more. It's been two years and none of the chemotherapy and radiotherapy are working as much as we'd hoped. The cancer cells have also affected and metastasized to her lungs and left breast.
She is undergoing treatment in St. Luke's Medical Center, BGC as a social service patient. Thanks to this program, we are able to have discounts for her treatment. Now that the cancer is becoming more aggressive, her doctors want her to have 12 weekly chemo sessions of Paclitaxel amounting to almost ₱300,000. Aside from this, she will also be needing 18 cycles of Trastuzumab every 21 days which costs ₱540,000 (₱18,000 per cycle). This is a very big amount that we have to generate in only a short amount of time and honestly, we don't know how. So that is why we are asking for your help. Please, help us save our mommy against this monstrous disease that has taken over her body.

She has always battled her illness with a positive disposition and she does't let her illness get her down. Dear people of the internet, we are pleading for your help. Please help us raise enough funds for our mommy to finally beat the Big C. We also ask for your continued support and prayers for her. We are eternally grateful to you for taking the time to read our mommy's story. We pray that the Lord may give back what you have given compressed, shaken and overflowing.
