Cancer Treatment for Agustin ~ A Ray of Light for Agustin

Agustín is our youngest child; only days after his first birthday we received the painful news that he had cancer in his eyes called Bilateral Retinoblastoma.

Agus has fought against this cancer for a little over eight months now and has been incredibly strong. In this process he has already lost his left eye and though his oncologist here in Costa Rica has worked hard, we haven't been able to beat this cancer. Therefore, we need to travel to Argentina to live for at least six months because there Agus can receive the intraarterial chemotherapy that is our only chance at saving the right eye and assuring a life full of light and colors for Agustín.

For this reason, we are starting this campaign, as well as holding raffles, yard sales and more to raise the money that we need to pay the medical expenses. The doctors have quoted us a cost of about $15,000 per chemotherapy session, and Agustín will need at least five sessions.

Agustín es nuestro hijo menor, días después de cumplir un añito nos dieron la dolorosa noticia que padecía cancer el los ojitos, se llama retinoblastoma bilateral!!

Agus tiene poco más de 8 meses de luchar contra este cancer y la vdd ha sido increíblemente fuerte; en este proceso perdió su ojito izquierdo, y a pesar de la lucha que han pelado sus oncólogos aquí en CR no hemos logrado ganarle a este Cáncer por lo que debemos movernos a Argentina donde tienen la quimioterapia intraarterial que es nuestra única opción para salvar el ojito derecho y asegurarle una vida llena de luz y colores a Agustín!!!

Por esta razón nos encontramos haciendo campañas, rifas , eventos y más para recaudar el dinero que necesitamos para pagar estos gastos médicos !!
