Hi there,
I'm Sara, I have a friend and fellow childhood cancer survivor who is finally getting married! She's very happy but she's unable to afford the wedding she wants. When she was 18 months old, she was diagnosed with a very rare kind of cancer that most people have never heard of. It was called germ cell and it was on the tip of her tail bone. She went into remission and she had one relapse when she was 4. Due to side effects from the drugs she was given in treatment, she has had medical complications since she won her battle. Kidney failure and transplant, heart problems and hearing loss are among the issues. With those complications, comes medical bills... lots of them. She is also on disability due to those issues and cannot work, therefore all her income goes to medical bills and living expenses. So I'm setting up this campaign in hopes to help her get the wedding she deserves!.... but shhhhh! She doesn't know I'm doing this yet!
She's wanting a cute country wedding. Nothing overly fancy but just fancy enough. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated, and/or if you are able to donate services, venues, etc. that would be amazing! Significant discounts also accepted and appreciated!
Thank you so much for taking time to read about this campaign and have a blessed day!
