The critical role of tumor angiogenesis in cancer progression has been an important topic of cancer research.Tumor angiogenesis is the proliferation of a network of blood vessels penetrating into the cancerous growths. The discovery of novel anti-angiogenic agents that may limit the progression of cancer is a significant contribution against cancer disease.
