Cancer Patient during Covid 19 knocks on your kind hearts for help

I hope you're having a good day so far. I'm reaching out to you because I wanted to share my story with you.

I am Roel A. Tagapan, 22 years old.

I am a PUJ driver. I got into this job early since I stopped studying ever since my dad got sick which made me the breadwinner of the family, and I also have my own child to support. Because of the lockdown I was not allowed to drive the jeep which made our day to day living challenging.

But something happened that made my life more challenging. I thought I only had sinusitis and did not expect when I found out that was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, a type of cancer originating in the nasopharynx. And now at our current state, the COVID19 has worsened my situation causing many restrictions for my treatment. I don’t know where to find such a large amount of money for all the medicine and procedures that I have to go through. I have asked for help to all the people I know but they couldn’t help me as well because they were also affected by the pandemic. I don’t know where else I can possibly seek help. The cancer cells have slowly been manifesting my brain and the doctor said that if i couldn’t get my treatment as soon as possible, it would become too late for me to survive.
