Cancer is Expensive

Anyone who has ever had cancer or known someone who has will understand what we are currently going through. If it isn't bad enough that you have to fight for your life, imagine how much harder it is when you live and have to pay for that.

Two years ago my husband was diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkin's Lymphoma at 29 years old. We have two toddler daughters and had just bought our first house. It was a devasting ordeal, but my husband worked through all of his chemo treatments just to be able to maintain his insurance. 

Today he is in remission and we are beyond blessed by this. Unfortunately, all of his uncovered medical expenses have us barely staying afloat financially. We have filed for medical financial assistance, the cancer society aid and even thought of pulling his 401k to pay for these bills. Nothing has helped.

I am starting this in hopes that there are people out there looking for a charitable cause to donate to. Every bit counts and will help us make a dent in the large debt looming over us.
