Supporting my mother’s immunotherapy treatment

I need your help so that my mother can start the immunotherapy treatment.

After 10 years of fighting cancer, 5 interventions and many treatments with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, no usual treatment worked as expected.

This year she did a genomic test for tumor mutations on a sample from the last surgery to see if an immunotherapy treatment might help. The test result was 7 mutations/Megabase, a result that allows the start of treatment with Keytruda (pembrolizumab) 200mg once every 21 days, minimum 5 sessions. For the treatment to be financed by CNAS the result should have been >10 mut/Mb, but a lawyer will try to get the settlement.

Since time is not on our side in this case, the doctor's recommendation was not to wait for the case to be resolved, which can take up to several months.

At the moment we can only afford one session, but it is not recommended to stop the treatment, so it cannot start until we have the money for at least 3 more sessions. The price of the treatment for one session is ~5000 eur.

Many of you know how much she has fought so far, although it is not an easy fight at all. But my mother is a fighter and we need people like her among us.
