CANCER

I decided to start this fundraiser for my father who has been suffering from Stage 2 Colorectal Cancer.

It has been three months now since two malignant tumor were seen in his large intestines, and the said disease is actually a recurring one. The first time he had Colorectal Cancer was about 10 years ago. He had it just like his two older siblings, all in the same year, and he's the only one, at that time, who won over it.

We wanted him to get the urgent care that he needs but due to the pandemic, we find it difficult to take him in and out of the hospital. My Papa's body is now frail, losing more than half of his body weight for the past weeks.

His doctor has been honest with us, admitting that my father may not be able to survive even 5 cycles of Chemotherapy but what we can do instead is help condition his body for the debulking surgery.

My mother and I decided that we'll move forward with the specialist's advice. We've gotten help from our immediate family and sold our valuables to keep up with the medicinal expenses too. And as painful, and as helpless as it sounds, we could use a lot more financial assistance now since I was just laid off by my company.

I am reaching out because I cannot afford to lose my father, and because I don't know what else to do/where else I could ask for aide.

(I am currently looking for a job and is solely relying on my final pay to get us through.)
