I, Murtaza Ebrahim I am founder of Malvern Initiatives a new A federal Not-for-Profit Corporation # 1033374-3.
As a new startup organization I am approaching all of you to provide my organization funding to support delivery of services to clients.
Objectives are to provide client services to newcomers, immigrants and refugees including counseling, interpretation, information, immigration processing, social and housing support, health and medical referrals, address language and communication gaps to these group of people in partnership with service providers. Others goals are to provide skills training to youth school drop outs especially in improvement or poor Toronto neighborhoods.
While there a number of organization in Scarborough providing these services and serving these group of clients there are only a hand full in Malvern neighborhood/North East Scarborough.
I envision my organization Malvern Initiatives to have a stronger presence and provide full fledged dedicated immigrant and newcomer services based out of Malvern neighborhood serving Ontarians at large.
As the plight of refugees becomes a growing concern and there is an upwards influx of refugees and Canada continues to welcome more and more immigrants, Malvern Initiatives is not to compete but to provide comparable quality and build on capacity in serving newcomers and immigrants.
It is essential and I need a jump start support in seed funding so that I can invest in capital expenditure to establish a physical infrastructure and an administrative body to support delivery these of services to clients.
I am requesting for financial and logistical supports so I can proceed and build on the mission and objectives of Malvern Initiatives. Thank you for your support.
With your support I may not be able to give back to you but your donations will go towards building an infrastructure and a team that will serve refugees, immigrants and newcomers for a better life and prospect in Canada.
