Campaign Story
Hi my name is Maisie and I am 15, In April i was paralysed from the chest down when a virus attacked my spinal chord, this has left me wheelchair bound.
I was always a very active person before this happened to me and I would love to continue with this even though I am paraplegic and reliant on a wheelchair. I have found a bike that would let me take part in family walks in the woods and will also let me join in with the Duke of Edinburgh award that I am involved with, I would also like to re-learn to swim and I have found an instructor who helps people with physical impairments. Unfortunately these things cost a lot of money so I am trying to raise money to help to pay for them.
I will not let this beat or define me , I am strong willed, positive and have the support of my brilliant family and friends.....Thank you for your support xxxxx
