Campaign for Friend of Children

A friend of Children is an approach used by Child Dignity and Equality Foundation to fund raise for the welfare of the children in Tanzania. C-DEF. C-DEF being a registered Non-Governmental Organization with the head Office in Morogoro Urban is mainly engaged into protection of children rights, fighting against all forms of violence, engage in livelihood program to prepare young people to be good citizen in the future and also engage in gender issues and women’s right.

C-DEF is Currently implementing two project that we do in voluntarily base which are Big sister and little sister target pupils in primary school especially girls to realize their potential and the other one is Nguvu ya Mama (The Power of Women) focusing on promoting gender equality.

To ensure sustainability of our volunteer projects, We have started Local Fundraising approach call A Friend of Children Campaign with the focus of identifying people called ''Friends of Children'' who could support our interventions in any kind been financial, material, capacity building or in any kind to meet our goal. We identified you as a potential person who could join our hand.

Brief about C-DEF

Child Dignity and Equality Foundation (C-DEF) is a registered non-governmental organization based in Morogoro, Tanzania. Since its establishment in 2018, has been mobilizing the entire communities to inspire and support community based violence prevention interventions to reduce violence, discrimination, promoting legal awareness intervention and advocate for child rights and child protection in Tanzania. C-DEF is registered to work in the entire country in Tanzania with a registration number is oongo/00010013
