Indonesia, is a beautiful country according to people who live outside Indonesia, and many of its inhabitants admit it, even I personally acknowledge it. But in my place, in a district called Lemahabang, Karawang Regency and in the Province of West Java, with a population of more than 55,000 people and divided into 11 villages, community awareness of the environment is very poor. Especially about disposing of trash, plastic waste, which will not decompose in a short time. This is where the beauty is lost, polluted by the amount of garbage due to the lack of awareness in managing waste
The bad habit of the Lemahabang people is throwing garbage into the irrigation channel that is supposed to be irrigated to irrigate rice fields. Large irrigation or small irrigation is not free from rubbish. Dirty and gives the impression of not being beautiful.
Through this fundraising, I have a concern to carry out the first phase of the campaign by giving an appeal to the community not to throw garbage into the irrigation channel in the form of making banners and distributing stickers that will be distributed through the village heads and their assistants to jointly provide an understanding of the dangers of plastic waste on water quality to irrigate paddy fields.
This movement after obtaining funds will coordinate with Youths, Youth Leaders, Religious Leaders and Local Governments in 11 Villages in the Lemahabang District area.
Hopefully this effort can be the first step to further be able to make a clean environment and irrigation channels that are not filled with garbage.
Thank you for your attention, and I ask for your donation
