Project title: Give Kids of Gaza happily Eid

Targeted Group: Kids who lost family member in wars, 100 kids.

Amount: 15,000 USD. Every kid will get gifts, cloths, and participate in 4 days camp.

Every child will get 150 USD.

Again, kids in Gaza who were waiting the Holy Al-Fitr Eid two month ago to celebrate their new cloths and collect feasts from family, they spent the Eid in hospitals and beneath the rubble. 66kids passed away, hundreds injured in 11 days of Israeli war against Gaza in May 11, 2021.

A child of ten in Gaza lives 2 scary wars in a time those kids were waiting the most joyful event in the year, the Holy Eid.

Children recall Eids with loses and deaths. We’re trying to keep them away and avoiding them to live the same memories over and over.

The holy Al-Adha Eid is in 30 days, this is full day of activates during the 4 days of Al-Adha Eid, starting in July 19 to 23 next month. It targets the kids who suffers wound or loses and fear,to help them relive the joyful again.

The full days of activates will be in a camp as every child will get a uniform, gifts, toys, meals, and of course the most interesting act in Eids for kids, the feasts.

Activities will be leaded by young graduated psychologists and will target 100, most of them are still in trauma due to loses of their closest ones. We can make them live wonderful 4 days of Eid if we spend $150 for everyone.

Every child belongs to a family of 4-7 members, mostly kids, and they saw and lived loses and destruction inside and outside especially in the times of Eid, they link it with their memories of the late couple of Eids.

“I lost my soul mate, together Rafef and I were planning to wear the new cloths we got for Eid and go for beach parties with family and friends,” Rimas Abu Dayer, 8 years old who lost her sister Rafef, 12, said. She could see her sister dusty digging out in the rubble, lifeless.

It is a big picture for a child to hold. “We could not go outside last Eid due to the war, my sister Rafef promised me she will make it up when war is end, she went to another place, she does not here anymore,”

Rafef passed away in a bomb third day of Al-Fiter Eid last May.
