I am a student of MA Theatre Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman. My fellow theatre scholars and I are mounting a theatre production about human trafficking. We are staging a trilogy of plays as part of Fringe Manila Arts Festival 2018. We aim to spread awareness about human trafficking since we believe that theatre is a powerful tool to send a message across. And in spreading awareness, we hope to tap the hearts of those in power in order to put a stop to this crisis.
