My son Cameron is 23 and has a developmental disability. When he was six he had surgery to move his saliva ducts to the back of his mouth as he drooled constantly. The result of this surgery has calcified his four lower bottom teeth.  Ontario disability will not cover the cost of having these teeth repaired as they say it is " cosmetic"  Their option would be to have the teeth removed..I have worked since i was sixteen and never collected a penny from unemployment.  I feel sad that the government thinks its okay people with disabilities to have their teeth removed and draw more attention to them.  My son has never had a cavity. I have always looked after his teeth to the best of my ability.   I had no control over this dental problem.  Cameron also has to be put to sleep for this procedure. He cannot have this done in hospital as it is considered "cosmetic" I cannot let my beautiful sweet son have his teeth removed so I will do whatever it takes to come up with the money to pay for this dental work. Thank you for listening. God bless.
