In order to gather evidence against the hunts in the three counties we rely heavily on cameras to film and take photos, whether of setts being blocked / dug-out, foxes being chased or flushed from drains or earths to the hounds or of hunt supporters being violent.
Cameras have been our best friends, meaning that we have deterred hunts from blocking setts having caught and filmed them, filmed evidence of aggression and violence - in one case leading to a local wildlife hospital receiving a donation as part of the hunt supporter's apology to us - and gathered evidence of fox kills.
We monitor and sab hunts such as the South Herefordshire who have recently been filmed keeping foxes in cages at the kennels and feeding them to the hounds and who we have on film hunting foxes, assaulting sabs and supporters having just released a bagged fox.
We would like to get some new equipment as we are out 4 or 5 times most weeks of the season, from September until the start of April each year, which means all our equipment gets absolutely battered and video quality and equipment reliability is pretty important!
Can you help us out and help us buy us some new equipment? Take a look at our vimeo page, facebook and website to see what work we get up to and what we've achieved over the seasons and share / donate if you can.
